What is Digital Imaging?

Just imagine turning a photo into a drawing. Then a artist comes over and fills in all the missing parts. He covers in all the cracks and lines. Then he might add some extra color. Well that is Digital Imaging. Except instead of turning your photo into a drawing we scan it into a computer and the artist uses a mouse instead of paints.

What can we do to your old photos?

Once we have it in our computer the sky's the limit! We can colorize black and white photos, draw in missing pieces, remove or add people to a photo, change backgrounds, glamorize, remove scratches and rips, just about anything you can think of.

What happens to my original photo?

Nothing! You get it back in the same conduction you gave it to us. What you get is a NEW photo printed on KODAK photographic paper that will last a lifetime. We also store your restored image in our files for up to one year, so if you want more copies it's just a phone call a way.

Is it expensive?

Pricing for restorations are based on a few criteria. The number one thing that will determine your cost is the amount of damage your photo has or the amount of manipulation that has to be done to your photo.

Damage consists of rips, scratches, stains etc. Manipulations consist of background changes, adding/removing items, colorizing etc. Damage to detailed areas of the photo, a face for example, will cost more than damage to a background area.

Colorizing five people wearing patterned clothing will cost more than a single person wearing solid color clothing. The age of your photo is not a factor nor is the size in most cases, though very large photos may cost a bit more because they must be handled differently.
